Marilyn Monroe by Tom Kelly, 1955

The original photographs were taken by Tom Kelly in the late 1940s when Monroe began her career as a model. Because of the model’s release form she signed at that time, Kelly asserted he had the right to use her images in perpetuity and did so for years, reusing the photos year after year on calendars, prints, etc.
